Station Changes

 

Among the many changes occurring right now with the region downsizing, the Station's two music venues, 'The Map Room' and 'The Sphere' have been removed. Those areas were very seldom used and I want the primary focus of Travelers Station to be on travel. I'll leave the entertainment business to the vast array of clubs and venues in SL.

Approximately 60,000 square meters were shed in the end. Although sad to let go of, I'm happy to say my monthly tier will now be much less stressful and the time needed to do caretaking will be less. 

The Station has a new area on the north side of the bridge - The Landmark Repository.  Those who visited the Station's SL22B Exhibit will recognize these large collections of LM's and a collection of historic points of interest.

What remains on the Station grounds are the northside Bunny Picnic Park and the Guest Rez area in the southside parking lot with complimentary vehicle rezzers. To the left of the entrance, near the Monthly Destinations, is a manhole which leads to the historic 'Mysterious Bookshop', that in 2018, housed the very first TP travel books I created. I use it now days to collect oddities, toys and games, many of which are playable.

What is the Station today began with one book and an idea 7 years ago. 

I'll be back on the road soon with lots more tales to tell you here. Now virtually homeless, I'll also be seeking a small spot to call my own. Until then, I'll sleep on my favorite bench at the Station - it won't be the first time -LOL
