Yes, the dark underbelly of Second Life gets exposed once again. Just as I'd uncovered during my Mare Secundus voyage , things are never as "sunny" as they may seem in SL and conspiracy theories abound everywhere (mostly ones that I've started here.) I embarked on my voyage from Safe Harbor & Air Strip. There's a complimentary guest boat rez area there, so you can too! Heading southward I made my way to the Sunshine Island Waterway which is a cover name for a horrendously pollution filled dumping ground for used tires and innertubes, I suspect from the LDPW. (Linden Department of Public Works) Even before reaching the Waterway, I discovered garbage floating in the water... From the moment I entered the waterway I was met by unsightly floating refuse and flotsam and jetsam. The floating debris was everywhere. Something began to feel very suspicious about this.
