Heavy Fog
Traveler's Station celebrates crossing the 9,000th traveler mark, on the way to 10,000. __________________ This voyage isn't going to have a map for you to follow. Because having no map is actually the topic of this post. It's more about the concept of happy accidents, aka Serendipity. Serendipity is an unplanned fortunate discovery. The term was coined by Horace Walpole in 1754, after he read a Persian fairy tale called The Three Princes of Serendip , whose heroes constantly made lucky discoveries. Sometimes you leave on a journey with a destination in mind, you've mapped it all out, you're certain of your skills and feel reasonably assured that you'll reach your stated goal. But then ...
