The SL22B Exhibit & Station News
I am very excited to have the Station participate in this the year's SL Birthday celebration. The exhibit build we are doing is, in many ways, a direct reflection of some of the ideas presented in this blog. Exploring unknown and forgotten places in Second Life, off the map and out of mind.
The Station has grown in so many unforeseen ways over these past few months. With the addition of the City, the Air Docks, the Coastal Docks and now Travelers Square which is home to the Station Offices and the Second Life Adventure Repository Bureau of Vacated Lands & Abandoned Artifacts. (we are so very official) We now comprise 99% of the land on the Ulyanovsk Oblast region of Satori.
The Station now also has it's very own Historian / Archivist, Lily Lightcloud, who brings over 21 years of invaluable experience, knowledge and insight to her job. She has also agreed to co-curate the Repository with me.
As you can imagine, preparing our Exhibit for SL22B is all we are working on currently, so I won't be posting a new expedition for another week or so. But trust me, I have some AMAZING journeys lined-up for you in the future!
SL22B will open June 20th and run through July 20th. Hope to see you there!
Until next time ... stay curious and enjoy your travels.
