The Fairy Islands
I originally named these "The Fairy Islands" when I first spotted them (from my old Dock location which I rented off the eastern coast of Satori), and after exploring, realized everything on them was 'tiny sized' as if Fairies lived there. With one exception, they all appear to have been built by Moles, from the LDPW (Linden Department of Public Works) I was so fascinated by them, I drew a map by hand of the area. A few small land features have changed since the map was drawn, so it's not entirely accurate.
(I no longer rent that property, as I was so fortunate to locate affordable beach property off that same coastline with Blake Sea access, which I now own and the new Docks Location is here.)
The Fairy Island Voyage Map
Danu, where we shall begin our exploration, is also home to a Linden Game entitled, 'Tyrah and the Curse of the Magical Glitches.' My partner in crime and I have played the Glitches game and it is hysterically funny, taking you all over Second Life. You can begin the game at The Portal Park
This lighthouse has many features, including an outer ladder to climb to the interior door, 3 floors of Tiny accommodations, and a platform with a telescope, from which you can set off fireworks. I especially enjoyed the fireworks!
From the Lighthouse we continue our journey east to the small island, the Intrepide Castle Ruins, home to a magical orb created by Eric Linden.
There are several points of interest on this island, including a multi-tree house and the Heart Tree, which surges on and off with its magical powers, and many other exotic surprises.
I really enjoyed exploring it.
Leaving Intrepide, we continue north east to the Fairy Grove on Brilliant Island. Which I found simply enchanting with it's little Fairy Homes and central magical pavilion.
For our last stop on this voyage, we briefly head north to Coastal Waterway, Inflexible, then eastward to the Coastal Waterway, Glorieux, where we find the Tiny Private Linden Sandbox.
Deserted and unused, this sandbox is not a public rez area. Perhaps it once served as some experimental build area.
In my next installment I shall take you even further north east to a grand discovery of Meauxle Bureaux, Mole Bay, and points beyond!
Until next time … stay curious and enjoy your travels.
