Introduction to Serendipity
As of today, The Station is nearing 3,500 visitors. I've been doing a lot of traveling over these past months and a few close friends have suggested that I start a travel blog highlighting some of my more interesting journeys.
Unlike other Second Life travel blogs that feature shopping or popular destinations, this one will feature just the opposite. Little known and out of the way places I discover during my explorations. Some were created by the Lindens decades ago and left for residents to find, while others others are just quirky and surprisingly humorous discoveries. I find these places fascinating and had been posting some of my maps on Flickr with brief descriptions, but I never felt like those posts did justice to the fullness of the experiences.
So in this blog I shall endeavor to share my thoughts and feelings about these special places, as well as maps and SLURLS.
Recent Station Expansion
Travelers Station has grown into nearly a full region with the addition of Travelers City and Air Docks. With an additional 12 sites to visit and a working airport.
I'll be making a wearable HUD that visitors can use to easily access each area. Until that is finished, there's a visitors welcome board at the entrance with a TP directory.
Until next time … stay curious and enjoy your travels.
